Michael Jackson, Pop Star, Dies in a 'Thriller'

LOS ANGELES- Michael Joseph Jackson, 48, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 11:37 a.m. At the time of his death, Jackson was undergoing breast augmentation surgery at UCLA Medical Center. Michael’s death is most likely due to anesthesia complications.
He was born Aug. 29, 1958, in Gary Indiana to Joseph and Katherine Jackson. Michael is the seventh of nine children. He married Lisa Marie Presley in 1994, but later divorced two years later. In 1996, Michael married Deborah Jeanne Rowe. They had two children together, Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr. (also known as "Prince"), and Paris Katherine Jackson. Michael and Deborah got divorced in 1999. Michael also claims to have another son by a surrogate mother, Michael Joseph Jackson III, who was apparently born around February 2002.
Michael is a former Jehovah’s Witness. He attended high school at Montclair Prep in Van Nuys, California. Michael lived with his children at Neverland Ranch. He was involved in many children’s organizations, and was know for his love of all children.
Michael got started in his career at the early age of five, when he sang with his brothers in a group called the Jackson Five. Later he went solo, selling over 170 million albums worldwide. Michael was a great singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, choreographer, and dancer. He is known to some as the ‘King of Pop.’
Michael is survived by his ex-wives Debbie Rowe and Lisa Marie Presley, also by his parents Katherine and Joe Jackson and all of his siblings, Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, La Toya, Marlon, Randy and Janet. Michael will also be missed by fans everywhere!
